6th Grade Ancient History Book Report Project

Directions for Ancient History Book Report

You are to choose a nonfiction book or biography from one of the history units we study this year. The library call numbers are attached. The book must be approved by me before you begin and be at least on hundred pages.

You will have until September 25th to finish reading your book. There will be fifteen minutes of silent reading per day in class. You should also plan on fifteen to thirty minutes of reading each night. You may need to read on weekends to finish your book by the 25th. Do not let this go until the last night.

You will be writing a newspaper based on information you learned from the book you read. The format will be explained in computer class. Your newspaper should be at least two pages and 250 words. Please see examples from the Egyptian Echo (handed out in class).
